| Fox Media was formed in 1994, and since then has been the production base of producer/ Director Robert Fox for various projects. It started with a project called “The Real Rainman,” a documentary about an eccentric character living on the outskirts of Denmark who has turned his farm into a wardrobe for his collection of 2000 raincoats. In his house, he lived a pretty normal family life with his wife and kids. If it started to rain, however, he had to go into his wardrobe. With that project, we got support from the Video Workshop of the Danish Film institute. | Friends pitched in too, and what cost us approximately 1500 dollars of our own money became a film that was shown in 10 countries. A trailer of the film was bought by the French designer Jean-Paul Gaultier for his cult TV show “Eurotrash,” which aired on British Channel 4, plus a long string of international TV-stations around the world. It is still featured on the Paramount comedy channel in the US and on Virgin Pay-per-view. Since then our company has maintained its fascination with original and individual thought and expression, but has mainly concentrated on innovative and fantastic thinking by artists and scientists. |
