Flash of a Dream presented  at Copenhagen International Photo Festival

Screening at The Danish Film Institute (Cinemateket) Sunday May 16 at 19.00. Introduced by Director Robert Fox.

The festival will present significant Danish and international contemporary photography in art institutions, galleries and urban space offering a wide range of contemporary photography, from art and fashion photography to documentary and photojournalism.

Copenhagen Photo Festival will present a day and night itinerary offering  exhibitions, workshops, artists talks and seminars, along with a private view program of satellite exhibitions. Exhibitions and events will be presented by and at: The National Museum of Photography /Det Nationale Fotomuseum, Fotografisk Center, The Museum of Copenhagen (Københavns Bymuseum), Galleri Bo Bjerggaard, V1 Gallery, Galerie Mikael Andersen, Peter Lav Gallery, Martin Asbæk Gallery, DASK, Hans Alf Gallery, Cinemateket, The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts / Det Kongelige Danske Kunstakademi, National Gallery of Denmark / Statens Museum for Kunst, Scandinavia House, New York City, 25CPW gallery, New York City, – as well as by independent curators and photographers all over Copenhagen.

Vi har flot klippesuite stående ledigt i de næsten 600 kvm store lokaler i pakhuset på Islands Brygge. Lige klar til at rykke ind i fra en dag til 6 måneder. Suiten er udstyret med Final Cut Studio HD, cinema display, JVC reference monitor, Apple MAC G5, Harmon Kardon højtalere. Vi bygger gerne ud i forhold til nye behov. Suiten er forbundet med omverdenen via 50 mb up-load/ download fibernet. Det vil sige at den færdige film kan sendes via nettet til hele verden på meget kort tid. Der er adgang til digibeta og andre formatkonverteringer. Ud over det er der direkte forbindelse til Sound Pro Studierne, der laver lyd til film. Deres seneste produktion ar spillefilmen Applaus samt adskillige biograffilm til biograf of TV. Hvis det drejer sig om speak og versionering ligger lydstudiet Serious Sound lige ved siden af. Endvidere har vi samarbejde med Dicentia postproduktion, der kan skyde den færdige HD produktion ud på bånd til broadcastertil en favorabel pris.

Our drama documentary film FLASH OF A DREAM featuring Peter Stormare as Jacob Riis will be screened at Maison Du Danemark every Sunday between Marts and May 2010 at 16:30 at the address: 142 Avenue des Champs-Élysées, 75008 Paris

From March 1st 2010 Fox Media has relocated to the Icelandic Docs (Islands Brygge) in the centre of Copenhagen. In a neighbourhood that has seen an extreme makeover in the last 15 years - production companies, galleries, cafes, swimming in the middle of the harbour, and a rich history this is an exciting new place to be. Fox Media has been approached by CBS news in the US wanting to show a clip from our new dance trailer CO2 Angel, featuring the brand new Climate Dress designed by Diffus in Copenhagen. It measures the levels of CO2 in the air and monitors the result over hundreds of LEDs incorporated in the textile. The dress has been voted as one of the worlds most hot tech wear items of 2009 in recent polls.

THE MOVIE

The pilot was shot inside the Avedøre Power Plant in Denmark, featuring the choreographer and muliti media artist Pipaluk. The film is scheduled to be shot in ten countries (including locations with the highest level of CO2) during 2010. We are currently looking for funding.
